Creating that better future is always on my mind. Of course, I’m not the only one. Visionary CEO’s like Google’s Larry Page and Tesla’s Elon Musk are betting on cool new technologies to help ‘redefine it’ as they say, and leading entrepreneur Dr. Peter Diamondis, in his book Abundance, assures us that new technologies and ongoing innovation will ultimately solve our most pressing problems. Great! So then why am I not feeling it? Perhaps because Diamondis also acknowledges that the fear and negativity pumped out by the media tends to overshadow the good stuff. Still, in looking around I can see there’s a lot of good stuff happening.
The Omidyar Network, for example, is creating platforms that give people equal access to information, opportunity, and the tools needed to pursue their goals. BioGeometry™, a new science being brought forward by Dr. Ibrahim Karim, ScD, is enabling people to produce higher, healthier yields in both animal and plant agriculture, without the need for chemical fertilizers, pesticides, hormones or antibiotics; and BioGeometry™ may also soon allow us to irrigate crops with unprocessed salt water taken right from the sea. The 2045 Initiative founded by Russian entrepreneur Dimitry Itskov, has as its mission the creation and realization of a new strategy for the holistic development of a humanity that’s able to meet the growing global challenges. Nice!
And just look at these future-oriented conferences that are popping up: The Success 3.0 conference “brings together dozens of the world’s leading thinkers, entrepreneurs and change-agents to articulate a new, transformative vision of conscious living, innovation and social impact.” Singularity University’s Exponential Medicine conference attracts people from all over and is designed to accelerate cutting edge solutions and new directions in medicine. And there are a dozens more worthy of consideration, too.
Learning about all of this, I couldn’t help but be inspired. But I had to wonder how many people could devote the time and resources like I did to uncover these things; to attend these conferences; to learn about important new discoveries in biophysics or health or science that directly impacted their lives and well-being?
So I got to thinking: What if all these people, rather than having to travel to a conference or read through peer reviewed journals, could find the answers they were looking for all in one physical and virtual place … at a futuristic, Jetson’s-like lifestyle and innovation center that was all about living well? Certainly it can be done, because, to quote the X-Files tag line, “The truth is out there.”
And that was my inspiration for The Pavilion — an immersive, ‘whole-istic’, 75,000 square foot lifestyle center that empowers people to live happier, healthier, richer lives.
Today, this Pavilion, supported by a world class advisory board, has been vetted on paper and is ready to take flight. Moreover, not only will The Pavilion help enable people to live well, it boasts an advanced, proprietary, BioGeometry™ building design that will support people’s health as soon as they step inside.
To Success 3.0. Wisdom 2.0. The 2045 Initiative… and the great visionaries of our world, I applaud them. Now it’s time to build the pipeline — to make the connections and give millions easy access to their visionary solutions. Because ultimately, our ‘better future’ is only going to happen as a ground-up movement.
There’s a beautiful tomorrow just waiting to be manifest. Together, let’s make it so.
